After school art classes will start on Wednesday, January 17, 2024 from 4-5 pm. There are several spots left. If interested in reserving a spot please contact the Arthur Johnson Memorial Library, or you can show up to the first class it will be on a first come first served bases, if you did not reserve a spot.  For any students interested in writing, the New Mexico Leopold Writing program will be having a contest for Grades 6th - 12th. Please be sure to submit all writing by February 15th 2024. For complete instructions and entry forms please visit leopoldwritingprogram.org

  

 

 We are thinking of creating an after school art program, and want to try for three days a week for students though the remainder of the school year starting the week of January 8th, 2024, and possibly doing an adult class on every other Saturday.  The library will provide the needed materials to keep this 100 % free to all that want to attend. Yeah, We have a volunteer to teach art!!! If you are interested in learning art we are getting groups together now. If you, your child, significant other, or anyone you know would be interested in art classes, send us a message. Please include age of person or person(s) interested, if more than one is interested would you be interested in doing it together or in separate groups or both and a way to contact you once the classes are set up.
